egta, is currently searching for a new colleague for its RADIO department, WITH EXPERIENCE IN THE MEDIA AND ADVERTISING SECTOR and a thorough understanding of the challenges that are facing radio as an advertising medium as it transforms and embraces the radical changes brought by digitisation. Please note that the exact title and position in the radio team will be defined on the basis of the candidate’s experience and profile.


This person will both lead and work with egta’s current radio team of two and will help meet the association’s radio members’ growing need for information, guidance and international benchmarks. He/she will define the strategy of the radio department, set priorities, propose new services, design tools, analyse incoming questions, structure activities and supervise the creation of publications, surveys and databases or any activity that will help guide member radio ad sales companies and futureproof the sector. He/she will also be responsible for the organisation of conferences and training programmes.


He/she will report to the Director General and will work in full cooperation with the Communication, European and Regulatory Affairs and TV departments to secure the success of the association.


The ideal candidate:

has a minimum of 5 years of practical experience in the media and advertising industry and understands the challenges of a fast-changing radio industry turned fully digital (audio).

Having worked for a radio broadcaster, a sales house or for a media agency is a definite plus)

has a vision for where the sector is going and is able to translate this vision into concrete activities adapted to the various stages of development of radio companies across markets
has no less than a PERFECT mastery of both spoken and written English
is outspoken and has excellent presentation and communication skills.
has leadership skills and is a team player
is able to multi-task and work under pressure
enjoys travelling (once to twice per month under normal circumstances)
